Niue, the first
dark sky nation
For this project, our client was… an island. Niue is located in the central South Pacific and it recenlty became the first Dark Sky Nation in the world.
We decided to create the island’s identity building upon this unique feature, emphasizing not only print but also digital assets as a focal point for reaching our goals.

Niutopia is an organisation that highlights the negative effects of light pollution on a global scale. It is based in Niue, but operates internationally.
Our initiative includes the development of printed and digital assets offering educational resources and practical solutions to mitigate light pollution.

Our two user archetypes have different needs and interests. This is why the app gives an instant overview of their specific impact and personalised tips on how to improve their score.
ENVIRONMENTAL COMMUNITY
An important aspect of Niutopia brand is the community united by our values. In fact, the app serves also as a platform to join events and become part of the organization as a volunteer.
